‘God is Not A Man’- Nigerian Singer Sparks Huge Debate Online

Nigerian singer, Omah Lay has posited that although he believes God truly exists, he doesn’t think he’s a man like all religious people subscribe to. 

The ‘Bad Influence’ singer made this controversial statement when he engaged his fans on Twitter in a Question and Answer session. This was triggered by a fan identified as Lola Ajasa who took to the comment section to ask him about his relationship with God.

The fan wrote: ”Notice that you acknowledge God in your lyrics quite often. You know for a mainstream artiste. Is this a background influence?”

He replied by saying: ”I’m not religious, but I know there is God and he is not a man.”
