 Chidozie Godsfavour Ugochinyere (born March 13, 2000) professionally known as Fave, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. She is an amazing vocalist whose voice is often compared to the music star, Tems. She is a storyteller who loves to speak through her music. She eventually came to limelight for her hit single “Baby Riddim”.

Early Life

Fave was born on March 13, 2000. She hails from the Eastern part of Nigeria and of Igbo tribe to be precise. She was raised alongside her siblings by her parents.

Career

Fave SZN as fondly called, started having passion for music at a tender age of 6 where she began to compose songs. With much inspiration from the likes of Adele, Sia, Aisha Badru and so on, Fave began to showcase her talent with a blend of R&B, Pop and Soul.

She came through professionally at the age of 19 where she was recognized for her song M.O.M.M.S meaning “Me or Mask My Sins”.

According to Fave, it all started when she was suffing the internet for free beats and she came across one made by the Nigerian artists and record producer, Jinmi Abduls. She freestyle on the beat and it went viral online which also became a turning point of her music career. She followed it up with the release of her single N.B.U which means “Nobody But U”.

She became a sensation online after she released her single “Baby Riddim” which gained lots of attention in the media space most especially on the video sharing platform, Tik Tok. The year 2021 is simply an amazing one for the Nigerian singer who also got featured by Olamide on two tracks; Want and Ponpon on his album “UY Scuti”.

Fave has also worked with other fast risng Nigerian artists like BOJ, Olutimi and Skeellz.
