Gulping water is very important when it comes to staving off bacterial expansion and bad breath effected by inadequate moisture and saliva in the mouth.

6. Avoid the consumption of sugary juices especially at night as they can boost bacterial buildup during the night. You also need to try and avoid foods that cause bad breath. Onions and garlic are the most popular culprits when it comes to inflicting bad breath. Even as you avoid these foods, try not to eliminate onions from your diet as research shows that consuming onions in moderation can kill 4 different strains of bacteria that can cause tooth decay and gum disease.
